How to choose your size by body measurements

To find your ideal size you need three measurements.

Waist: measure around your natural waistline, usually the narrowest part of your torso.

Hips: measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

Thighs: measure around the fullest part of one thigh.

A note on the waist: our trousers have an adjustable waist, so if the size fits your hips and thighs comfortably, the waist can differ by roughly 20% and still fit well.

Measuring while seated or lying down

Standing is not always possible, and you can measure just as accurately sitting in your chair or lying down.

Waist: if you are seated, lean slightly to one side to expose your natural waistline. Lying down, simply find your natural waist and measure around it.

Hips: pass the tape around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, keeping it as level as you can.

Thighs: measure around the fullest part of one thigh with the leg relaxed.

No measuring tape? Use a piece of string

A ribbon, rope or piece of string works just as well.

Wrap it comfortably around the area you are measuring while seated or lying down, mark the point where it overlaps, then lay it flat and measure the length with a ruler.

Compare with a garment you already own

For an even closer fit, measure a pair of trousers or a top that already fits you well.

Lay the item flat, measure the relevant dimensions such as inseam, waist width and hip width for trousers, or chest width and sleeve length for tops, then compare them with the garment measurements on the product page.

Our trousers have an adjustable waist, so if the hips and thighs fit, the waist can differ by around 20% and still fit well. Measuring while seated or lying down is fine — that is how most of our customers do it.

As parents and caregivers, we know that finding the right footwear for a child in a wheelchair is about more than just looks. Traditional shoes are often heavy, difficult to put on, or unnecessarily rigid for someone who isn’t walking.

Why we chose 2mm Neoprene
We selected high-quality, 2mm-thick neoprene because it offers a unique balance of protection and flexibility. It provides a soft "hug" for the feet without being bulky or restrictive.

Gentle Thermal Warmth: Because children in wheelchairs aren't generating heat through the movement of walking, their feet can get cold quite easily. This 2mm layer acts as a thermal barrier, trapping body heat to keep toes cozy during outings or in air-conditioned spaces.
Wind & Water Repellent: Neoprene is naturally windproof and water-repellent. While not meant for full immersion in water, the surface effectively beads away light splashes and blocks chilly drafts, ensuring that dampness doesn't soak through to your child's socks.
A Soft Protective Shield: The foam core provides a cushioned layer that helps protect sensitive skin and ankles from the hard surfaces or accidental bumps against the wheelchair frame.

These boots are designed exclusively for seated use. Because the soles are soft and completely flexible to maximize comfort and footrest grip, they do not have the structural support or traction required for standing, cruising, or walking. They are a dedicated comfort solution for children in wheelchairs or seating systems.

Finding the Right Fit
To ensure your child is as comfortable as possible, we recommend measuring their foot before ordering.

How to measure:

Place your child's foot on a flat surface (or hold a ruler against the bottom of the foot if they are reclining).

Measure the distance in a straight line from the tip of the big toe to the back of the heel.

Choose the size that corresponds to this length. If your child wears thick socks or you prefer a bit of extra room, consider sizing up.

Care

Care Tips for Neoprene
To keep these boots looking and feeling great:

Wash: Use a gentle, cold machine cycle.

Detergent: Mild detergent is best; avoid bleach or harsh chemicals which can break down the neoprene bubbles over time.

Dry: We recommend air drying away from direct heat sources. Neoprene dries relatively quickly on its own!

Where we ship
All of Europe, including non-EU countries such as Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Serbia and Montenegro. Outside Europe we ship to the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Israel and South Africa.

We currently do not ship to Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, the rest of Asia, the rest of Africa or South America.

Duties and taxes
For the whole EU, Norway, the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand we pay the duties and taxes ourselves — your parcel arrives at your door with nothing extra to pay.

For all other destinations, customs duties and local taxes are payable by the buyer on arrival. For the United Kingdom, adaptive clothing is in principle VAT exempt, but there is no dedicated customs code for these products, so in practice the charge is usually collected at the border and has to be reclaimed from HMRC afterwards.

Dispatch and delivery
Orders are dispatched within 5 working days unless the product page states otherwise. Delivery time then depends on the destination country, the carrier and the delivery method you choose. In exceptional cases, such as pre-sale items, we reserve the right to dispatch within up to 45 calendar days, and we will always tell you beforehand.

We deliver with parcel lockers or courier services. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout, before you confirm the order.

Returns and exchanges
We do not provide return labels, and return shipping is paid by the buyer. If you would like a different size, we offer one free exchange per order. If you are unsure about sizing, fit or any detail of the product, contact us before ordering — we will help you choose the right option.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to receive my order?

Many of our products are in stock, others are made to order. In most cases we ship within 1 to 5 days. If demand is unusually high, which tends to happen after exhibitions, we let you know about any delay. The same applies to orders that include a length adjustment.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and selected shipping method. Orders can be delivered by courier or to an available parcel locker or collection point.

Can I return an item, and can you send me a return label?

You have two months from delivery to return an item. We set that period deliberately long, knowing how unpredictable daily life can be.

As a small workshop we cannot provide prepaid return labels, so returns are sent at your own cost. Once we receive and inspect the item we refund you within 3 business days. If you want to exchange for a different size, we cover sending the replacement once. Items made to your own measurements cannot be returned.

Is your clothing easy to wash and care for?

Yes, and we design for it deliberately. Even our multi-layer insulated pieces go through a regular washing machine cycle. Adaptive clothing should fit into your routine, not add another complicated step to it.

How does the front access panel work?

On garments with this feature the front panel drops down to give direct access for catheterisation without removing your trousers. From the outside it looks like an ordinary pocket, so the function stays private unless you choose to use it.
