How to choose your size by body measurements

To find your ideal size you need three measurements.

Waist: measure around your natural waistline, usually the narrowest part of your torso.

Hips: measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

Thighs: measure around the fullest part of one thigh.

A note on the waist: our trousers have an adjustable waist, so if the size fits your hips and thighs comfortably, the waist can differ by roughly 20% and still fit well.

Measuring while seated or lying down

Standing is not always possible, and you can measure just as accurately sitting in your chair or lying down.

Waist: if you are seated, lean slightly to one side to expose your natural waistline. Lying down, simply find your natural waist and measure around it.

Hips: pass the tape around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, keeping it as level as you can.

Thighs: measure around the fullest part of one thigh with the leg relaxed.

No measuring tape? Use a piece of string

A ribbon, rope or piece of string works just as well.

Wrap it comfortably around the area you are measuring while seated or lying down, mark the point where it overlaps, then lay it flat and measure the length with a ruler.

Compare with a garment you already own

For an even closer fit, measure a pair of trousers or a top that already fits you well.

Lay the item flat, measure the relevant dimensions such as inseam, waist width and hip width for trousers, or chest width and sleeve length for tops, then compare them with the garment measurements on the product page.

Our trousers have an adjustable waist, so if the hips and thighs fit, the waist can differ by around 20% and still fit well. Measuring while seated or lying down is fine — that is how most of our customers do it.

These are not just a pair of trousers; it is a high-performance tool designed for men who require both extreme durability and advanced functional access. This "Seated Engineering" masterpiece combines military-grade durability with a revolutionary closure system.

Specifications

Seamless back (Vilber’s signature design): Following our core principle, we have entirely removed the back center seam. The wearer sits on a single, smooth piece of fabric, which eliminates the risk of pressure sores (decubitus) caused by thick seam junctions.
Reinforced assistant-grip waistband: We have integrated the waistband directly into the back panel with a double-stitched, elasticated construction. This provides a high-strength grip point for assistants during transfers, significantly reducing the risk of tearing the fabric.
Magnetic hook-and-hook system: The fly and front panel utilize a magnetic hook-and-hook system that automatically finds its position and locks securely. It stays closed under tension but can be easily opened with a simple slide motion using integrated loops—perfect for users with limited hand dexterity.
Dual-direction access zipper: The front panel features a two-way zipper system. This allows for discreet routing of catheter tubes or full access for dressing, all while maintaining a standard trouser appearance.
Anatomical knee construction: The knees are widened and feature specialized darts to accommodate a flexed position, while excess fabric is removed from the back of the knee to prevent bunching and skin irritation.
Lower leg zippers & volume: Expanded leg openings with internal zippers that reach mid-calf. This allows for easier dressing with limited foot mobility and provides quick, discreet access to check urinary leg bags.
Heavy-duty material: Crafted from an industrial-grade blend (65% Polyester / 35% Cotton), designed to withstand the friction of daily wheelchair use while remaining breathable.
Organic seated silhouette: The side seams have been straightened to flow naturally along the leg while seated, preventing the common "twisting" effect found in standard trousers.

Disclaimer: These trousers are modeled by our colleague Oskars, a technical orthopedist. While he is not a wheelchair user himself, he serves the wheelchair community daily. Oskars is 180 cm tall, weighs 80 kg, and is wearing a size M.

Where we ship
All of Europe, including non-EU countries such as Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Serbia and Montenegro. Outside Europe we ship to the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Israel and South Africa.

We currently do not ship to Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, the rest of Asia, the rest of Africa or South America.

Duties and taxes
For the whole EU, Norway, the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand we pay the duties and taxes ourselves — your parcel arrives at your door with nothing extra to pay.

For all other destinations, customs duties and local taxes are payable by the buyer on arrival. For the United Kingdom, adaptive clothing is in principle VAT exempt, but there is no dedicated customs code for these products, so in practice the charge is usually collected at the border and has to be reclaimed from HMRC afterwards.

Dispatch and delivery
Orders are dispatched within 5 working days unless the product page states otherwise. Delivery time then depends on the destination country, the carrier and the delivery method you choose. In exceptional cases, such as pre-sale items, we reserve the right to dispatch within up to 45 calendar days, and we will always tell you beforehand.

We deliver with parcel lockers or courier services. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout, before you confirm the order.

Returns and exchanges
We do not provide return labels, and return shipping is paid by the buyer. If you would like a different size, we offer one free exchange per order. If you are unsure about sizing, fit or any detail of the product, contact us before ordering — we will help you choose the right option.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to receive my order?

Many of our products are in stock, others are made to order. In most cases we ship within 1 to 5 days. If demand is unusually high, which tends to happen after exhibitions, we let you know about any delay. The same applies to orders that include a length adjustment.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and selected shipping method. Orders can be delivered by courier or to an available parcel locker or collection point.

Can I return an item, and can you send me a return label?

You have two months from delivery to return an item. We set that period deliberately long, knowing how unpredictable daily life can be.

As a small workshop we cannot provide prepaid return labels, so returns are sent at your own cost. Once we receive and inspect the item we refund you within 3 business days. If you want to exchange for a different size, we cover sending the replacement once. Items made to your own measurements cannot be returned.

Is your clothing easy to wash and care for?

Yes, and we design for it deliberately. Even our multi-layer insulated pieces go through a regular washing machine cycle. Adaptive clothing should fit into your routine, not add another complicated step to it.

How does the front access panel work?

On garments with this feature the front panel drops down to give direct access for catheterisation without removing your trousers. From the outside it looks like an ordinary pocket, so the function stays private unless you choose to use it.

first time purchase and have been happily surprised with the quality, attention to the added adaptability items (extra zips, fasteners, etc). Really very functional and my husband (who is in a wheelchair due to MS) finds the knee design so much better than 'normal' pants. He wears a bag occasionally so the zip at the end of the pants has been a bonus. A little long for him but we will get them shorter next time. Postage took a while but the team were very very responsive whenever I emailed. Would definitely buy these again,

Je suis très content avec

Je suis très content avec. Souvent les pantalons sont trop courtes pour moi, pas celle ci, leur longueur est parfait.
J'ai aussi un main qui deconne, la fermeture est très facile a fermer.
Les fermetures éclaires sont bien fait aussi.
Le seul chose que je trouve dommage, c'est ce modèle n'a pas de poches.
J'ai commandé ce pantalon pour une essai d'une marque que je connaissais pas. Je viens de leur commander deux autres pantalons. Et je vais sans doute leur prendre un ou deux polaires pour cet hiver aussi.
